Chris Fulp did not start painting until adulthood.  He studied with Martin Ahrens for two years.  Martin taught Chris to see colors as they are affected by the light.  Therefore, he is constantly looking for shadows when searching for a subject.  Chris loves painting buildings and houses.  Charleston provides him with more subjects than he has time. An avid gardener, Chris sees beauty all around him. Chris was also the buyer for Morris Sokol Furniture Co. for 15 years, and now, Chris can be found at The Plum Goose, a local furniture retailer and interior design firm.
